Angelo Corrao served as an assistant editor on “A New Leaf”, “Klute” and “Little Big Man” and began a long association with renowned editor Dede Allen. They worked together on many feature films including “Serpico”.”Slaughterhouse Five” and “Dog Day Afternoon” (an Oscar winner and an Oscar nominee for editing). He edited with Dede on “Reds” (multi-Oscar winner and nominee for editing) , and they co-edited “Offbeat”. He has also collaborated with Bruce Weber on “Let’s Get Lost” (Oscar nominee) and “Chop Suey” for which Angelo received a 2002 A.C.E. Eddie Award nomination for Editing of a Documentary Feature. He has edited on other features including “The Pick Up Artist”, “Primary Colors”, “The Line King” (Oscar nominee), “All That Jazz”, “Kramer vs. Kramer”, “Saturday Night Fever”, “Tender Mercies”, “Melvin and Howard” and “Silkwood”. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and has been a guest lecturer at the NYU Film School and School of Visual Arts.
