Reviewing the play, Ben Brantley wrote in the New York Times “....Ms. Atkinson, one of the finest actresses on the New York stage....” She also received a Tony nomination for her portrayal of Lizzie in the recent revival of “The Rainmaker”. Her other Broadway credits include “Ivanov” and “All My Sons”. Film credits include “Free Willy” ( 1 and 2) and “Parenthood” and, most recently she appeared on television in a recurring role in “The Education of Max Bickford” opposite Richard Dreyfuss and in the lead of a “Law & Order” episode. She will next be seen on Broadway in the upcoming production of “Enchanted April”.
